| Day 3 : Bozburun- Bencik After breakfast the gulet rounds the cape to sail in the Hisaronu Gulf. You will to come to Bozburun , now a charming and popular small fishing town, but once an isolated port for the sponge-diving trade early in the 20th century. That hard life was abandoned when disease struck the sponge beds (sponges are a form of algae) and stocks declined. Nowadays the people have replaced their old livelihood with building and sailing gulets for tourism. Your next stop will be Bencik Bay; a very narrow mouthed bay but with a unique view once you get inside. This is the site of an ancient unfinished canal. Under their general Harpagos the Persians came to conquer the Datca Peninsula in 550 B.C as part of their greater invasion along the Aegean. The Cnidus people wanted to link both gulfs by digging a channel between to make one defensive island but the city was conquered by the Persians before they could complete it. The evening dinner and overnight stay will in Bencik Bay. |

| Day 4: Bencik - Datca The gulet moves on to Aktur after breakfast for a swim and lunch, then sails along to the largest town on the Datca (or Resadiye) Peninsula where the captain docks the gulet in Datca harbour for fresh supplies. Named as Cnidus(Knidos) it was moved to the tip of the peninsula, where the ruins of the city are being excavated. Datca was refounded in modern times around the safe harbour. You can explore Datca either by yourself or join the optional tour** to Cnidus the ancient city, and the home of the Aphrodite cult. Dinner and overnight take place in Datca or in a nearby bay. You may like to take a walk in the port town as it has a distinctive charm. The city was founded by the Dorians who came across the Aegean Sea to the southern coast of Ionia in the 7th century B.C. |

|
| Day 5 : Datca- Symi The day starts early to cruise across to the closest Greek Island of Symi which lies in the gulf. But dinner and overnight will be spent in the small harbour of the one and only town on the island Symi, where beautiful Neo-Classical houses rise up the steep slopes from the waterfront. The island was also famous for the sponge-diving trade as can be seen in the small shops and boutiques. Enjoy an evening stroll in the typical island atmosphere after dinner aboard. |
