Tour programme :
Day 1 : Marmaris
Boarding starts from 3:30 p.m and the service starts immediately with drinks and dinner while the yacht overnights in Marmaris Harbour on the waterfront. Step ashore to enjoy a stroll through the old town and the nightlife.

**(According to your request , you may also spend the overnight on a closer bay ,rather than staying on the port.)

Day 2 : Arab Island - Bozukkale
While you are enjoying breakfast Guletbookers staff will welcome you and  inform you about the cruise programme and safety procedures of the yacht. Once your captain has completed the port departure procedures, you will start sailing to the Arab Island (Arap Adasi). After lunch and a swimming break the gulet sails on to Bozukkale bay where dinner is served at the overnight mooring. The Turkish name Bozukkale means 'crooked castle' and is given to the ancient citadel’s ruined walls. However in ancient times it was the powerful city of Loryma which with its geographical situation and protected bay, was an important port of the Rhodian Peraia (the mainland possessions of Rhodes (167BC-2nd C AD). Rhodes Island is visible just 20 miles away.

Day 3 : Datca
After breakfast, we round the cape and sail across the gulf to Datca, the largest town on the Datca (or Resadiye) peninsula. The captain docks in Datca harbour for fresh food and water supplies. You may like to take a walk in the port town as it has a distinctive charm. The city was founded by the Dorians who came across  the Aegean Sea to the southern coast of Ionia in the 7th century B.C. Named as Cnidus (Knidos) it was moved to the tip of the peninsula, where the ruins of the city are being excavated. Datca was refounded in modern times around the safe harbour. You can explore Datca either yourself or join the optional tour** to Cnidus the ancient city, and the home of the Aphrodite cult. Dinner and overnight take place in Datca or in a nearby bay.

Day 4 :  Aktur-Bencik
The yacht moves on to Aktur after breakfast. Your next stop will be Bencik Bay; a very narrow bay but with a unique view once you get inside. The Persians led by their general Harpagos, came to conquer Datca Peninsula in 550 B.C. The Cnidus people wanted to link both gulfs by digging a channel between to make one defensive island but they could not complete it in time, so the city was overcome by the Persians. The dinner and overnight stay will in Bencik bay

Day 5 :  Selimiye-Orhaniye
Today we will be sailing in Hisaronu Gulf. For lunch we will dock in Selimiye Bay and then we will turn our bow towards Orhaniye for dinner and overnight. In Orhaniye you can join the optional jeep safari to discover the unique village way of life**. In this bay you will notice a unique natural phenomenon called 'kiz mumu' (Girl's candle.),a reddish sandy path going from the shore into the sea. In the bay there is a small island where you can see the ruins of an antique fortress.

Day 6 : Dirsekbuku-Bozburun
We will sail around the coast on our way to Dirsekbuku after breakfast. Then we will continue to Bozburun. Bozburun is now a popular charming small fishing town, but once was an isolated port for the sponge-diving trade early in the 20th century. That hard life was abandoned when disease struck the sponge beds (sponges are a form of algae) and stocks declined. Nowadays the people have replaced their old livelihood with building and sailing gulets for tourism.

Day 7 :  Kadirga-Marmaris
Today we will sail to Kadirga or Kumlu Buku after breakfast. After lunch you will take a short swimming break at Paradise İsland before the cruise finishes with the final dinner and overnight in Marmaris Port.

Day 8 :   Marmaris
After the breakfast our guests will be farewelling their crew and gulet, disembarking the boat before 10:30a.m.

***Itineraries are subject to local weather conditions and may, for the safety of the passengers and boat, be changed at short notice by the captain, whose decision in such matters is final. The passenger’s personal interests may be discussed and included in the itinerary if possible. All sailing times are approximate.
