After lunch and a swimming break the gulet sails on to Bozukkale bay where dinner is served at the overnight mooring. The Turkish name Bozukkale means 'crooked castle' and is given to the ancient citadel’s ruined walls. However in ancient times it was the powerful city of Loryma which with its geographical situation and protected bay, was an important port of the Rhodian Peraia (the mainland possessions of Rhodes (167BC-2nd C AD).
