| Day 3 : Sail north for Leros Island to arrive around noon. After a lunch and swim at Xirokambos, move on to Lakki or Ayia Marina. | Day 4: Arrival in Scala harbor of Patmos Island, a popular mooring spot at the base of the mountain crowned by the world heritage site of the 13th century monastery of St. John the Divine and other sites of pilgrimage. | Day 6 : Your gulet turns southwards for the larger island of Kalymnos. Although its days of wealth as a major sponge fishing center are over, Kalymnos still proudly displays its long history in the sponge diving museum and its stately homes dating from that era, and the magnificent new museum of ancient finds. The many small bays and coves of the island are well worth dropping an anchor in. |

| Day 7 : Leaving Greek waters the gulet cruises eastwards to the Turkish waters and arrives at Turgutreis Marina at the end of Bodrum Peninsula. While the captain is filing his papers with authorities, enjoy the chance to have a quick wander in the very modern marina, or a short way along past the double-minaret mosque into the town centre full of shops and bargains. It is all quite different again. The guket then travels southwards around the tip of the Peninsula, so very close to Kos, and moors between Karaincir, the best beach of Bodrum, and Aspat peak crowned with 4th cent BC walls, and Roman baths and remains at its base. |
